There are some experiences we spend years talking about.
One day I’ll do something like that.
One day I’ll take that trip.
One day, when life isn’t quite so busy.
And then another year passes.
The interesting thing about travel is that sometimes the biggest decision isn’t where you’re going.
It’s deciding to go at all.
In February 2027, a small group of travellers will leave Brisbane for an eleven-day journey through Hawaii and Las Vegas with IN SPORT and Lacey Events.
For some, it will be an experience they’ve been thinking about for months.
For others, saying yes might happen much faster.
But when the bags are packed and everyone meets for departure, how long it took to make the decision won’t matter anymore.
They’ll be going.
More Than Somewhere New
Previous tours have shown us that while the destination might be what first captures people’s attention, it’s rarely the only thing they talk about when they come home.
They remember the people.
The conversations over breakfast.
The laughter.
The shared meals.
The stories exchanged along the way.
And the unexpected moments that could never have been written into an itinerary.
Sport may be what initially brings everyone together, but somewhere along the journey, the experience becomes about something much bigger.
It becomes about connection.
About sharing something extraordinary with people who understand why being there matters.
And about returning home with stories and friendships that extend well beyond the journey itself.
A New Experience for 2027
For the first time, our 2027 journey will begin in Hawaii before continuing to Las Vegas.
It’s an entirely new chapter for the tour and an opportunity for this year’s group to experience two very different destinations as part of one shared journey.

The tour is delivered by IN SPORT and Lacey Events, in partnership with the Arthur Beetson Foundation and its Future Immortals program—bringing together shared values of sport, community and connection.

There will always be reasons to wait.
Work will be busy.
Life will be busy.
There will always be another commitment demanding your attention.
But every now and then, an opportunity comes along that asks you to make a different decision.
To take the trip.
To make the memory.
To say yes to something you’ve been thinking about doing for far too long.
