    4. Ticketing Services (Third-Party Events)

    Where Lacey Events facilitates ticket sales on behalf of an Event Organiser:

    • We act as an intermediary only

    • The contract for the event is between you and the Event Organiser

    • The Event Organiser is responsible for:

      • Event delivery

      • Changes or cancellations

      • Refund decisions

    We are not liable for event execution where we are not the organiser.

    5. Lacey Events Hosted Events

    Where Lacey Events is the Event Organiser:

    • We are responsible for event delivery

    • We may modify event details where necessary

    • Refunds and cancellations will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy

    6. Ticket Purchases

    By purchasing a ticket, you agree that:

    • All information provided is accurate

    • Tickets are subject to availability

    • Tickets may not be resold unless permitted by law

    • You comply with any event-specific terms

    Tickets may be issued digitally and must be presented for entry.

    7. Pricing & Fees

    • All prices are listed in AUD unless stated otherwise

    • Prices may include or exclude booking fees

    • Booking, processing, or service fees may apply

    8. Event Changes & Cancellations

    Where Lacey Events is not the organiser:

    Where Lacey Events is the organiser:

    • We will communicate changes as soon as reasonably possible

    9. Refunds

    Refunds are governed by:

    • The Event Organiser’s policy (for third-party events), or

    • Lacey Events’ Refund Policy (for owned events)

    Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

    10. Entry & Conduct

    You agree to:

    • Follow all event rules and venue requirements

    • Behave respectfully and safely

    • Comply with staff and security directions

    Entry may be refused or revoked if:

    • You are intoxicated or disruptive

    • You breach event rules

    No refunds will be issued in these circumstances unless required by law.

    11. Risk & Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • Attendance at events is at your own risk

    • Lacey Events is not liable for:

      • Personal injury

      • Loss or damage to property

      • Third-party conduct

    Where Lacey Events acts only as a ticketing platform, we are not responsible for event delivery.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

    You may be entitled to a remedy if:

    By attending any event promoted, managed, or facilitated by Lacey Events, you acknowledge and agree that:

    You grant Lacey Events and the relevant Event Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and publish any media captured at the event that may include your image, likeness, or voice for purposes including:

    • Social media content

    • Website and digital platforms

    • Event recaps and future event promotion

    • Media and press coverage

    This use may occur without further notice or compensation.

    Third-Party Use

    Event media may also be shared with:

    • Event partners and sponsors

    • Contractors working on behalf of Lacey Events or the Event Organiser

    These parties may use the content for promotional purposes related to the event.

    Opt-Out Option

    If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded:

    However, we cannot guarantee that you will not appear incidentally in crowd or wide-angle footage.

    Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

  • Expected Behaviour

    All attendees are expected to:

    • Treat others with respect and courtesy

    • Follow directions from event staff, venue staff, and security

    • Comply with all venue rules and applicable laws

    Zero Tolerance for Misconduct

    The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

    • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation

    • Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour

    • Unsafe or unlawful conduct

    Alcohol & Intoxication

    Where alcohol is available:

    • Responsible consumption is required

    • Attendees must comply with all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws

    • Entry may be refused to intoxicated persons

    Removal from Event

    Lacey Events, the Event Organiser, or venue staff reserve the right to:

    • Refuse entry

    • Remove attendees from the event

    Where an attendee breaches this policy.

    No refunds will be provided in these circumstances unless required by law.

    Reporting Concerns

    If you feel unsafe or experience inappropriate behaviour, please notify event staff immediately.

    Non-Refundable Fees

    Lacey Events does not store full payment card details.

  • Role of Lacey Events

    Lacey Events provides event services including:

    • Promotion and marketing

    • Ticketing and registration facilitation

    • Event support (where applicable)

    For many events, Lacey Events acts as a ticketing platform only.

    Responsibility of Event Organisers

    The Event Organiser is solely responsible for:

    • Planning and delivering the event

    • Ensuring the event complies with all applicable laws and regulations

    • Venue selection and safety

    • Staffing, security, and crowd management

    • Insurance and risk management

    • Accuracy of event information provided

    Event Delivery

    Lacey Events does not control or guarantee:

    • The quality, safety, or delivery of third-party events

    • Changes made by the Event Organiser

    • The conduct of attendees or third parties

    Liability

    To the extent permitted by law, Lacey Events is not liable for:

    • Event cancellations or changes

    • Losses arising from event delivery

    • Actions or omissions of the Event Organiser
